Development of the vehicle started while France was still occupied by the German forces. It was an attempt to use the obsolete B1 Bis chassis and fit it with a modern, more powerful gun. The project was finished by the Atelier de Construction de Rueil Design Bureau. A total of 60 vehicles were manufactured. However, the tank was considered unsuccessful compared to similar foreign vehicles. The ARL 44 has decent sloped frontal armour but a weak turret and paper-thin side and rear armour. As such, it is quite prone to fires and internal module damage when hit from anywhere but the front. However, the ARL boasts much-improved mobility over its predecessors, great gun depression and elevation values, and an excellent gun selection. There is a choice between 3 guns: a hard-hitting 105mm gun, a jack-of-all-trade 90mm F3 gun, or a 90mm DCA 45 gun with extremely high penetration - even better than the German 88mm L/71. The ARL 44 is the most powerful tier 6 tank in terms of penetration and thus can effectively snipe and remain effective even in Tier 8 battles. As of the Italian Tanks update, the ARL 44 received some minor buffs. 175 Armor Piercing Penetration with the 105 millimeter now, good enough for Tier VIII, tied with KV-85s 175s AP penetration. The 90mm F3 also now has a minor buff to aiming time (2.9 to 2.7). The whole tank received less dispersion when turning the turret and when on the move, making it better to play. Дело в том, что на фоне остальных французских тяжей, наш герой для своего уровня действительно имеет броню. Возможно, она не такая суровая, как хотелось бы, но учитывая особенности своей нации у ARL 44 ТТХ живучести действительно достойны уважения. Однако не стоит сильно забегать вперед, будем последовательными. Для начала, каждый владелец данного тяжа должен знать, что среди тяжей шестого уровня у нас самый скромный запас прочности, но при этом базовая дальность обзора составляет 350 метров, результат достойный, но требует корректировки. Теперь давайте рассмотрим, наконец, каковы у ARL 44 характеристики бронирования, чтобы все встало на свои места. Итак, в лобовой проекции наиболее защищенным местом является ВЛД. Толщина этого огромного по площади листа номинально равна 120 миллиметрам, но благодаря хорошему наклону мы получаем примерно 180 миллиметров приведенки. Подобные цифры говорят о том, что тяжелый танк ARL 44 может танковать одноклассников, а при небольшом довороте корпуса и некоторые танки седьмого уровня, но против восьмерок шансов нет. Лоб башни защищен гораздо хуже, тут и в «голых» цифрах брони меньше (110 мм) и наклона никакого нет, так что стреляя сюда, даже танки пятого уровня могут наносить урон. Исключением можно считать небольшой квадратик маски орудия у ARL 44 WoT, при хорошей доле везения, получив сюда оплеуху, урон не пройдет. Что же касается защищенности бортовой проекции, тут все гораздо хуже. Если благодаря массивным гуслям, закрывающим практически весь корпус ARL 44 World of Tanks, получится избежать потери очков прочности (что тоже бывает очень редко), то предательски тонкая башня впитывает весь урон, да и фугасы заходят в нее с полным пробитием. Есть еще один интересный факт. Если посмотреть на колижн модель танка при отключенном отображении ходовой, становится видно, что за передним катком находится корпус и стреляя в него прямо (со лба), орудия с достаточным пробитием будут наносить нам урон. Но гусеницы ARL 44 танк имеет необычные, они сильно выдаются вперед и если стрелять нам в каток сбоку, не задевая корпус, урон не последует, только слетит гусля. Светлой стороной медали можно считать ходовые характеристики данного аппарата. Для тяжелого танка, ARL 44 WoT имеет хорошую максимальную скорость, весьма завидную динамику, но маневренность тут плохая, как и скорость вращения башни. Как бы там ни было, а основной частью каждой боевой машины можно считать пушку и вооружение у нас поистине потрясающее, за исключением нескольких нюансов. Топовое ARL 44 орудие калибром 90 миллиметров – это длинноствольная пушка, у которой есть не самым лучшим альфастрайком, а помимо этого, длительная перезарядка и очень скромное 1450 единиц урона в минуту. Однако основной плюс этого ствола состоит в лучшем среди одноклассников параметре пробития бронебойным снарядом. Независимо от того, в какой бой закинуло ваш тяжелый танк ARL 44, вы сможете уверенно пробивать любого противника, не используя голду. Правда, есть тут еще один минус – точность. У пушки неплохой разброс, но сводится она очень долго, а также имеет плохую стабилизацию, что довольно прискорбно. Однако наш француз полон сюрпризов и у вас на выбор есть еще один вариант вооружения – это альтернативное 105-миллиметровое орудие. Отличие от топового в том, что с этой пушкой ARL 44 танк WoT имеет повышенный альфастрайк и более высокий ДПМ, который составляет примерно 1700 единиц урона в минуту. Но данный ствол имеет плохое пробитие бронейбойным и тут следует еще один сюрприз. Это орудие должно играться только на голде, так как в таком случае у вас не будет проблем с пробитием, а голдовые подкалиберы, внимание, наносят повышенный урон – 330 единиц. Преимущества и недостатки Плюсы: • Достойное бронирование лба корпуса; • Неплохой обзор; • Хорошая максималка и динамика; • Великолепное пробитие бронебойным снарядом; • Комфортные углы вертикальной наводки. Минусы: • Слабая броня лба башни и бортов; • Большие габариты танка; • Посредственная маневренность; • Маленькая скорострельность и ДПМ; • Плохая точность.

The ARL-44 is a rank III French tank destroyer with a battle rating of 5.3 (AB/RB/SB). It was introduced in Update 1.75 "La Résistance". As a rank III turreted tank destroyer, it performs very well in its role. With a very good gun and appreciable armour, this tank is deemed to be a long-range sniper on the battlefield. Its only downside lies with its mobility: it is slower than most tanks at this BR. The ARL-44 bears very distinctive characteristics, with a WWI-style track system (similar to the Churchill) which runs across the whole side of its chassis. This tank is a mix of different inspirations, mainly late war German tank technology such as the Panther series or the Tiger II, from which it takes its sloped frontal armour and tall profile. As France was reviving from WW2, its engineers were hard at work to catch up with tank technology, the ARL-44 series was a training ground for them. This is why this tank has rather weird design choices, coming from both experience and experimentation. Сегодня стартует ВТОРОЙ стрим из серии ТАНЧИК НА ПРОКАЧКУ или ПРОКАЧКА В ТОП совместно с KorbenDaIlas – ТОП СТРЕЛОК МИРА ЦИСТЕРН и Straik – ЛУЧШИЙ ИГРОК WORLD OF TANKS в ИСТОРИИ. Второй стрим из этой серии будет посвящен прокачке французского тяжелого танка 6 уровня ARL 44 в полном стоке - это настоящий БДСМ! Так что сегодня узнаем больше об ARL 44, а значит можно будет сделать своеобразный гайд на ARL 44 или обзор на ARL 44 по прокачке данного тяжа и прохождению ветки французских тяжей со старта ARL 44 на новом аккаунте в WoT. Также постараюсь рассказать, как играть на ARL 44 в рандоме, что делать на ARL 44, и таким образом показать пример игры на ARL 44. Уверен у нас получится правильно определить геймплей на этом танке и отбить атаку Пукич-Покечей стрим-снайперов на стримера Near_You... Ещё раз напомню суть стрима: 3-и статиста будут прокачивать танки из СТОКа в ТОП на ОБЫЧНЫХ снарядах и расходниках, лишь изредка применяя голду в экстренных случаях – 15% от общего боекомплекта. Начинать мы будем с 5-ого уровня, и каждый стрим прокачивать новый танк выводя его в топ, постепенно мы докачаемся до 10 уровня, а потом снова спускаемся и начинаем с 5-ого другую ветку. После вывода танка в топ, на следующий уровень мы переходим за свободный опыт, чтобы не тратить ваше и наше время на переход на следующую машину (по 3-4 стрима на одном танке – скучно будет). Экипаж нулевой, использовать голду для свободки - запрещено (только снять модули и т.д.). Для каждой прокачки, каждый из стримеров: Near_You, KorbenDaIlas и Straik - будет создавать голосование, где ВЫ будете ВЫБИРАТЬ танк, который ваш стример должен будет прокачать! Development of the vehicle started while France was still occupied by the German forces. It was an attempt to use the obsolete B1 Bis chassis and fit it with a modern, more powerful gun. The project was finished by the Atelier de Construction de Rueil Design Bureau. A total of 60 vehicles were manufactured. However, the tank was considered unsuccessful compared to similar foreign vehicles. The ARL 44 has decent sloped frontal armour but a weak turret and paper-thin side and rear armour. As such, it is quite prone to fires and internal module damage when hit from anywhere but the front. However, the ARL boasts much-improved mobility over its predecessors, great gun depression and elevation values, and an excellent gun selection. There is a choice between 3 guns: a hard-hitting 105mm gun, a jack-of-all-trade 90mm F3 gun, or a 90mm DCA 45 gun with extremely high penetration - even better than the German 88mm L/71. The ARL 44 is the most powerful tier 6 tank in terms of penetration and thus can effectively snipe and remain effective even in Tier 8 battles. As of the Italian Tanks update, the ARL 44 received some minor buffs. 175 Armor Piercing Penetration with the 105 millimeter now, good enough for Tier VIII, tied with KV-85s 175s AP penetration. The 90mm F3 also now has a minor buff to aiming time (2.9 to 2.7). The whole tank received less dispersion when turning the turret and when on the move, making it better to play.
